Being Afraid....

I have heard it said that…

 If you are strong,

 there is nothing to be afraid of.

If you are confident in yourself, 

 there is nothing to be afraid of.

If you live a good life and help others,

 there is nothing to be afraid of.

 And…

If you believe in God and his almighty power,

 there is nothing to be afraid of.

All these things I do believe true.

Yet, there are still others things

 that I am afraid of.

I am Afraid That….

My daughter will grow up, and ask me to let her go….

Others will think bad of me and shut me out……

I will fail to teach others the importance of believing in God….

I will not be kind enough to others……

I will forget what my Father and Mother taught me…

My children will forget me….

I will not be there, when someone needs me the most….

And, last but not least,

I will forget how fortunate I am…..

Lord, Show Me the Way.
